Els K9 Solutions offers a range of small group dog training classes to suit all levels. Our classes are fun for all the family and will teach you and your puppy all the key skills, with different techniques to practice at home between sessions. All of our dog training sessions include our full support package to ensure you progress super-fast and can practice everything we’ve taught you in real life situations between our sessions together.

Puppy Life Skills class

This class is for puppies up to 20 weeks at the start of the class so that the training is tailored to young puppy’s needs. There are a maximum of 6 dogs to enable you to get the most out of the classes. This is more than just a puppy socialisation class as it also covers all the key skills your puppy will need.

Beginner class

This class is for puppies over 20 weeks and dogs wishing to set great foundation skills. There are a maximum of 6 dogs to enable you to get the most out of the classes.  

The skills we cover include:

  • Sit
  • Down
  • Come back when called
  • Paying attention around dogs and people
  • Wait & Stay
  • Meet & Greet
  • Lead Walking
  • Settle
  • Door manners
  • Making good choices with
    • Not stealing food
    • Not stealing objects
    • Not jumping up

Intermediate Class

This class is for dogs who have completed the Puppy Life Skills Class or the Beginner Class or equivalent and builds upon the skills you have learned there. There are a maximum of 6 dogs to enable you to get the most out of the classes.  

The skills we cover include:

  • Come back when called around distractions 
  • Paying attention around dogs and people
  • Wait & Stay with distractions
  • Meet & Greet in more challenging situations
  • Lead Walking with distractions
  • Settle with distractions
  • Send to bed 
  • Developing good choices with
    • Not stealing food
    • Not stealing objects
    • Not jumping up
    • Waiting at doors

Our classes run on a Wednesday evening in Ewell near Epsom in a lovely hall with ample parking and a grass area

Sessions will be both indoors and outdoors weather depending to give you the best training possible
